Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to any work carried out by Wilkinson Tree Services (“we”, “us”, “our”) for the customer (“you”) on the property specified in the written quote. By accepting a quote, you agree to these terms.

1. Quotes

All quotes are issued in writing after a free on-site assessment. Quotes are valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issue. Where site conditions change between quote and commencement (additional trees, council variations, access changes), we will issue a revised quote prior to starting work.

2. Scope of work

The scope of work is limited to what is specified in the written quote. Additional work requested on site will be quoted separately and only carried out with your written or recorded agreement.

3. Council permits and compliance

Where council consent is required to remove or significantly prune a tree, we will identify this in the quote and either lodge or assist the application. Work will not commence on protected trees until the appropriate consent is in place.

4. Insurance

We hold full public liability insurance on every job. A current certificate of currency is available on request prior to commencement.

5. Payment

Payment is due within seven (7) days of invoice unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept bank transfer. Late payments may incur reasonable recovery costs.

6. Cancellation

Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled work date are free of charge. Cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled date may incur a call-out fee equivalent to one hour of crew time.

7. Liability

Our liability is limited to the value of the work performed under the quote. We are not liable for damage caused by pre-existing conditions, undisclosed underground services, or works conducted by third parties on the property.

8. Disputes

Any dispute arising under these terms will first be addressed by written notice. If unresolved, the matter may be referred to NSW Fair Trading or the appropriate NSW jurisdiction.
