Questions we get a lot about tree management.
What's the difference between tree management and just pruning every couple of years?
Pruning is reactive — you call when something looks bad. Tree management is proactive — we plan the whole property's tree work twelve months ahead, document every tree, and time each visit to the right season per species. You stop paying for emergencies.
How big does a property need to be for a management plan to make sense?
Generally five mature trees or more. Below that, scheduled one-off visits are fine. Above that, the admin and timing benefits of a single plan start outweighing one-off quotes.
Do you provide written risk reports?
Yes. Every plan includes an annual structural inspection of high-target trees, written up with photos. You can hand it to your insurer, your council, or the next owner if you sell.
What happens if a tree fails between scheduled visits?
Plan clients get priority callbacks. A tree on a managed property gets same-day or next-day response in most cases — that's part of what the plan pays for.
Are management plans locked in for a year?
Annual schedule, but no lock-in contract. If you don't want the next visit, you cancel — same as the rest of how we run.
